This is the cutter in the Pink Moon line — the partner blade to the matching thinner rather than a toothed tool itself. It carries a convex slice edge, the profile that lets you slide and point-cut as well as drop a clean blunt line, and it comes in lengths from 5.0” up to 7.0” so you can match it to the work and your hand. The pink rose-gold colour is a polished coating over the blade; the metal underneath is 440C stainless at 58-60HRC.

The convex edge does what a convex edge should: clean blunt work, smooth slide cutting, controlled point cutting. The range of lengths is the useful part, because you can size it to your technique rather than forcing one blade to do detail and long-layer work both.

Two honest notes. This is a cutter, not a thinner — there are no teeth here, so weight removal and texture come from the toothed blade in the set, not this one. And the 440C is reliable but not a hard cobalt steel, so on coarse hair you’ll hone it sooner. Choose the length to match your daily work and it’s a tidy, good-looking cutter; just pair it with a thinner if texturising is the goal.”
