With just 10 V-form teeth, this is the most aggressive texturiser in the Juntetsu Chomper line. Wide gaps between a small number of teeth mean each pass takes a big, deliberate bite, so it carves chunky separation, channels and bold movement rather than any kind of blend. V-form teeth (a notched V profile) grip and release cleanly, which keeps even a coarse blade from dragging. It runs on a 6” frame with a 3D offset handle.

“Ten teeth is about as coarse as a texturiser gets, so read this as a chunking and separation tool, not a blender. Those wide gaps take a serious bite per pass, which is exactly what you want for carving channels into thick hair, building piece-y separation or putting visible, editorial texture through a style. The VG10 at 60-62 HRC matters here: with so few teeth doing heavy work, hard, clean-biting teeth are what stop it folding and tugging, and soft steel on a blade like this would be miserable. The flat-out limitation is that it cannot blend — those gaps leave texture you can plainly see, so on fine hair or anywhere you want your thinning invisible, it is the wrong choice and a 30-tooth-plus blade is the right one. Keep it for bold, deliberate texture and it does that one job very well.”
