The Juntetsu Matte Black Offset Set pairs a convex-edge cutting scissor with a 6.0” wave-tooth thinner, both in Takefu VG10 at 60-62HRC and finished in a frost matte black coating. The wave (or scoop) tooth profile is the thinner’s distinguishing feature: each tooth rises and falls rather than running flat, which spreads the cut and helps blends fall in softly.
