“For the money, this is one of the easier thinners I can recommend, and the reason is the steel. Juntetsu have put VG-10 at 60-62HRC into a thinner that sells for a fraction of the premium Japanese names, and that hardness keeps each of the 30 V-teeth biting cleanly rather than folding or pushing hair — which is exactly where cheaper thinners fall down. Thirty teeth puts it in the sweet spot for seamless blending and softening weight lines, with enough density to disappear into the cut.

It’s a 6.0” right-hand thinner on a comfortable 3D offset, so longer blending sessions don’t punish the hand.
