The Mina Sakura II Set is a two-piece cut-and-blend kit: a convex-edge cutting scissor in the length you choose, matched to a 6.0” thinner with 30 V-form teeth. Both pieces are SUS440C at 58-60HRC and carry matching sakura engravings, so a stylist gets a coordinated cutter and blender from one box.

“As an affordable matched pair this does the job cleanly: a convex cutter for your foundation work and a 6.0” blender behind it, both in the same house feel for a modest outlay. I’d run the 6.0” cutting length as the all-round choice. The thinner is a gentle blender — 30 V-form teeth lifting a moderate, even ratio — so it’s well suited to softening weight lines and easing layers, but it finishes rather than debulks, which means a dense, coarse head will still want a wide-tooth texturiser alongside it. Be straight about the steel and the build: SUS440C at 58-60HRC is reliable mid-grade stainless, not a cobalt edge that holds for months, so expect regular honing, and this set is right-handed.
